Best NFL Prop Bets for Jaguars vs. Chiefs in Week 10 (Mahomes to Air it Out with Struggling Run Game)

The Chiefs are a big favorite once again and that doesn’t always work out for Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. Kansas City might have a tough time as a big favorite against Jacksonville and that might scare you off betting a side in this game, but it shouldn’t keep you out of the prop betting market. Here are my three favorite props for the Jags and Chiefs in Week 10.

• Patrick Mahomes Over 300.5 Pass Yards (-113)
• Travis Etienne Over 18.5 Carries (-105)
• Juju Smith-Schuster Over 5.5 Receptions (+100)

Patrick Mahomes Over 300.5 Pass Yards (-113)

The Chiefs were not able to run the ball at all against Tennessee last week. Mahomes was their leading rusher with 63 yards on six carries. Kansas City's three running backs combined for 14 yards rushing on 12 carries. It was a really bad performance and it won’t get easier against Jacksonville’s rushing defense.

The Jags only allow 4.0 yards per carry, the third best in the league, so Mahomes will be airing it out, this number isn't factoring in game flow.

Travis Etienne Over 18.5 Carries (-105)

Etienne has taken over as the No. 1 back in Jacksonville with the trade of James Robinson. In the past two weeks without Robinson, Etienne has 24 and 28 carries. That trend will continue, and the only worry is if they fall behind in the game and Lawrence is forced to try to dig them out of a hole. Even then I think Pederson will lean on Etienne because he is clearly their best offensive player. 

Juju Smith-Schuster Over 5.5 Receptions (+100)

Juju is becoming Mahomes’ favorite receiver. Not favorite target, that will always be Travis Kelce, but Smith-Schuster is the main guy on the outside. The past two weeks the emergence has really happened when he has gone seven catches for 124 yards and a touchdown and 10 receptions for 88 yards.
