Best NFL Prop Bets for Jets vs. Packers in Week 6 (If you Want the Ball, You Need Rodgers' Trust)
By Josh Yourish
The Green Bay Packers lost to one New York team last week, and now they’re back home at Lambeau Field facing the 3-2 New York Jets. The Packers are also at 3-2 and are 7.5-point favorites. There might be some value on this underdog this week, but I know there is value on the prop market, so let’s get into a few of my favorites.
Best Props for Jets vs. Packers
- Breece Hall OVER 59.5 Rush Yards
- Randall Cobb OVER 3.5 Receptions
- Romeo Doubs Anytime TD
Breece Hall Over 57.5 Rush Yards
Joe Berry, the Packers DC loves to stay in light boxes no matter what. Mike Lafleur, brother of Matt, and the Jets OC will happily run it down their throats with Breece Hall. Hall looks like he will be a dynamic running back in the NFL for a while. He ran for 97 yards last week against Miami, and I think 100 yard games will be the norm for him soon.
Randall Cobb OVER 3.5 Receptions
Aaron Rodgers doesn’t trust many people, but we know he trusts Randall Cobb. He led the team in receptions last week against New York with seven and he is going to get a lot of targets as long as Rodgers is under center. That was the first game Cobb has gone over this total, but I think Rodgers has reached his breaking point with some of the younger receivers and he will continue to ice out Christian Watson.
Romeo Doubs Anytime TD
I know I just said that Rodgers doesn’t trust the young receivers, but I do think he will have to trust Doubs this week. Sauce Garnder has shown he is a shutdown corner in the NFL already. He will likely be blanketed on Allen Lazard. Rodgers seems to have enough of a rapport with Doubs to go his way for a deep shot or two if Lazard is taken out.
