The Detroit Lions will be coming off their bye week, and it was much needed after they got shut out by the Patriots two weeks ago. Now, they face one of the league’s best defenses, the Dallas Cowboys. The Lions are 1-4 and the Cowboys are 4-2 and I’ve got three great props for you to bet on in this game.

Best Props for Lions vs. Cowboys

  • Dak Prescott Under 34.5 pass attempts
  • Tony Pollard Longest Rush Over 11.5
  • Jared Goff Under 247.5 Pass Yards

Dak Prescott Under 34.5 Pass Attempts

Prescott is returning from his hand injury this week, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave him a light workload. There is no need for the Cowboys to air the ball out this week against Detroit's awful run defense. They allow 5.5 yards per carry and have given up 10 rushing touchdowns. Plus, Ceedee Lamb has been on the injury report.

Tony Pollard Longest Rush Over 11.5 Yards

Did I mention that Detroit has a terrible run defense? Yeah I thought so, because it’s really awful. In just five games, they have given up 838 rush yards, good for fifth worst in the league and that is with one or two less games played than the teams in front of them. If it wasn’t for the Browns getting gashed for touchdowns on the ground, Detroit would be leading the league with 10 rushing touchdowns given up. Pollard is the home run hitter in the Dallas backfield, and I think he will break more than just one this week.

Jared Goff Under 247.5 Pass Yards

In Detroit’s 29-0 loss to the Patriots, Goff threw the ball 35 times, but only threw for 229 yards. Yes, Bill Belichick has his number, but Dallas’s defense is better than New England’s, so unless he gets to throw the ball 50 times, I don’t know how he’d hit this total.
