Lions-Giants as Fox’s Game of the Week? Interesting choice. This does look like it could be an exciting NFC matchup. The 7-2 New York Giants have scrapped their way to one of the best records in the league, and they can add to that against the 3-6 Detroit Lions who are looking to extend their little two-game win streak. It’ll be a good one, so let’s get involved in the prop market too.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Lions vs. Giants

  • Saquon Barkley Over 21.5 Rush Attempts
  • Daniel Jones Over 36.5 Rush Yards
  • Jamaal Williams Over 59.5 Rush Yards

Saquon Barkley Over 21.5 Rush Attempts

There is certainly a theme here. The run game is going to dominate the story of this one because neither of these defenses has been able to slow down their opponents on the ground this season. The Giants allow the most yards per carry in the NFL (5.4) and the Lions are 30th in the leauge (5.3). Saquon Barkley had 31 carries a week ago and as we get deeper into the season, Brian Daboll seems to be relying on Barkley more and more.

Daniel Jones Over 34.5 Rush Yards

Barkley isn’t the only guy who can run all over the Detroit defense. Justin Fields is a different type of player, but a week ago, he ran for 147 yards against the Lions. Daniel Jones averages 7.67 rush attempts per game and if he gets almost eight carries against Detroit he will easily run for 40 yards. He is a very athletic guy and is averaging 5.6 yards per carry.

Jamaal Williams Over 58.5 Rush Yards

Jamaal Williams has been dealing with an illness this week, but has been cleared to play. Dan Campbell wants to feed his lead back and has designated Williams as that instead of the often injured D’Andre Swift. The Giants allow more yards per carry than any team in the NFL, even though they have the highest blitz rate in the league. It would be difficult for Williams to not run for 60 yards if he gets even 10 touches out of the backfield.
