Not that I wish injury on any athlete, or any person for that matter, but man it will be fantastic to have an NFL Sunday without Carson Wentz on my TV. I’m so tired of watching him play football and make terrible decisions constantly, so when Taylor Heinicke gets the start for the Washington Commanders against the Green Bay Packers, that will be the most interesting that team has been all year.

With Wentz out and Heinkce in, this game is actually fun now and that makes me want to load up on a few of the most intriguing prop bets.

Best Props for Packers vs. Commanders

  • Terry McLaurin Longest Reception Over 22.5 yards
  • Brian Robinson Over 13.5 Rush Attempts
  • Robert Tonyan Anytime Touchdown

Terry McLaurin Longest Reception Over 22.5 yards

I’m not so sure that Terry McLaurin loved playing with Carson Wentz. I’m not sure anyone in the NFL has ever loved it, but McLaurin will get a boost with Heinick back under center. Heinicke and McLaurin connected for 962 yards and five TDs a year ago and that chemistry will almost certainly be back. Heinicke isn’t afraid of deepshot, and McLaurin will reel one in after going three catches for 41 yards a week ago.

Brian Robinson Over 13.5 Rush Attempts

I’ve said this every week and faded Green Bay’s rushing defense every week. Joe Barry is not a good defensive coordinator and is not maximizing an extremely talented defense. Barry lives with light boxes all game and never adjusts even if the other team is running it down their throat. Last week, Breece Hall went 20 carries for 116 yards and a touchdown. The Commanders have turned the backfield over to Robinson and exiled Antonio Gibson, so expect a high volume week for Robinson against Green Bay.

Robert Tonyan Anytime Touchdown

There are not many people in this world that Aaron Rodgers trusts. Robert Tonyan seems to be one of them. Randall Cobb left last week with an injury and Tonyan ended with 10 catches for 90 yards. This week one of those many targets will turn into six points.
