The Carolina Panthers have already fired their coach and after an overtime loss last week are sitting at 2-6, but the vibes are high Carolina.

PJ Walker orchestrated a last second touchdown a week ago and he has been the most exciting quarterback for the Panthers since Cam Newton (the first time). Things are not going so well for the 4-4 Cincinnati Bengals. This will be an interesting one in Cincy, so let’s get into the prop market, here are my three favorites.

Prop Bets for Panthers vs. Bengals

  • PJ Walker Over 191.5 Pass Yards (-115)
  • Joe Mixon Over 3.5 Receptions (-106)
  • D’Onta Foreman Anytime TD (+125)

PJ Walker Over 191.5 Pass Yards (-115)

PJ Walker looks legit. I really don’t think this is some fluke for a guy that was in the XFL a few years ago. Walker made some serious throws a week ago and I think Steve Wilks and Ben McAdoo will continue to trust him to push the ball downfield. What does he or the Panthers have to lose? Might as well air it out a little bit.

Joe Mixon Over 3.5 Receptions (-106)

Typically, unders are more valuable in the prop market and otherwise, but Ja’Marr Chase’s injury makes this a really enticing prop. The Bengals like to utilize Samaje Perine in third down situations a lot for his blocking, but Mixon is a talented pass catcher and he was forced into that role last week. Against Cleveland, Mixon had seven catches for 32 yards. That will have to be the case again if Tee Higgins continues to struggle as the No. 1 receiver.

D’Onta Foreman Anytime TD (+125)

PJ Walker wasn’t the only revelation last week, Foreman had 26 carries for 118 yards and three touchdowns. He is a talented runner finally getting a big opportunity. The Bengals like to play more of a shell defense to limit deep passing and that can leave some room on the ground. That will be even more evident this week with Josh Tupou, out for this game. He brings important size up the middle. Last week, Cleveland rushed for 172 yards.
