Bill Belichick heads back to Cleveland to face the team that fired him so many years ago. The New England Patriots might have figured a few things out but bring a 2-3 record into this matchup with the 2-3 Browns. It might be a battle of backup QBs and a game won on the ground. Let’s hunt some value on rushing props this week.

Best Props for Patriots vs. Browns

  • Rhamondre Stevenson OVER 78.5 Rush Yards (-115)
  • Nick Chubb Over 17.5 Rush Attempts (-115)
  • Jacoby Brissett Over 0.5 interception (+116)

Rhamondre Stevenson OVER 78.5 Rush Yards (-115)

Move aside Damien Harris, Stevenson is the No. 1 and maybe No. 2 option for the Patriots offense. He rushed 25 times for 161 yards last week and he will be the whole game plan against Cleveland. Last week the Chargers were able to run all over the Browns defense,

Austin Ekeler ran for 173 yards on 16 carries. Stevenson might be even more dynamic than Ekeler is.

Nick Chubb Over 17.5 Rush Attempts (-115)

Again, this game is going to be won on the ground. Chubb’s lowest carry total came last week when he had 17 carries and that might have just been because he ran for 7.9 yards a carry and two touchdowns. If they had more opportunities to give him the ball they would have, but he ended drives twice with touchdowns and took away from his own chances to run the ball.

Jacoby Brissett Over 0.5 Interception (+116)

If anyone knows what Brissett is good at and bad at, it’s Bill Belichick, the guy who drafted him. Belichick has owned certain quarterbacks over the years like Jared Goff last week and he is excellent at developing a game plan to further limit already limited quarterbacks. I think he will have something cooked up for Brissett and even if Belichick doesn’t confuse Brissett, Jack Jones is good enough to take it away on his own.
