Best NFL Prop Bets for Raiders vs. Seahawks in Week 12 (Tyler Lockett: Criminally Underrated)
By Josh Yourish
This will be the stretch in the season when we officially learn if the Seattle Seahawks are actually good. They’re 6-4 coming out of their bye week to face the Las Vegas Raiders and if they want to stay in the playoff picture then they’ll need Geno Smith to stay hot and to get Kenneth Walker and the run game going again.
In their loss to Tampa Bay two weeks ago, Walker only ran for 17 yards on 10 carries. Knowing Pete Carroll, he’ll be dying to run the ball and that’ll make for some valuable props this week.
Best NFL Prop Bets for Raiders vs. Seahawks
- Kenneth Walker III Over 18.5 Rush Attempts
- Tyler Lockett Over 65.5 Receiving Yards
- Derek Carr Under 252.5 Pass Yards
Kenneth Walker III Over 18.5 Rush Attempts
Walker was the only running back who got an attempt on the ground two weeks ago in Germany and he is fully established as the workhorse. The Seahawks only ran for 39 yards as a team in that game with Geno Smith being their leading rusher. Pete Carroll will not stand for that and even Geno Smith knows that isn’t what is best for him and this offense.
Tyler Lockett Over 65.5 Receiving Yards
Lockett has been the most underrated wide receiver in football for like four years running. He’s always getting separation and has incredible hands.
This total is right around where Lockett has landed the past few weeks, but he was dealing with a nagging injury that is almost certainly healed after their bye week.
Derek Carr Under 252.5 Pass Yards
The Seahawks have had some issues with their run defense this year and in their last performance they even got Tampa Bay’s abysmal run game going. Josh Jacobs is questionable, so if he misses the game this could change some, but I expect Josh McDaniels to run the ball a lot. Especially against a Seattle defense with 17 total takeaways.
