Lovie Smith did not light a fire under this Houston Texans team, instead they are 1-8-1, the worst team in the league and will likely be nothing more than a firing range for the Miami Dolphins. Tua Tagovailoa will get as much target practice as he wants, airing it out to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle and that makes for some really fun props in Week 12.
If you too think Miami will run away with this one then back me these bets. If you like being wrong then you can go ahead and fade these picks.
Best NFL Prop Bets for Texans vs. Dolphins
- Jeff Wilson Jr. Over 85.5 Rush Yards (-115)
- Jaylen Waddle Over 67.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
- Dolphins Total Points Over 30.5 (-110)
Jeff Wilson Jr. Over 85.5 Rush Yards (-115)
This is a high total for a guy who has played two games as a Dolphin and only spent one as the workhorse back.
I don’t care because Mike McDaniel has been doing a really good job of developing the run game for Miami and Jeff Wilson Jr. is his guy. That’s why they traded for him at the deadline. He went for 119 yards on 17 carries two weeks ago and coming out of the bye this run game should be even better. Houston is dead last in the NFL in rush yards allowed per game. They’re allowing 28 more yards than Detroit in 31st in the league.
Jaylen Waddle Over 67.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Derek Stingley Jr. has done a nice job in his rookie season and has allowed the Texans to play more man coverage than you would expect from a Lovie Smith coached team, but he will likely draw Tyreek Hill. There are going to be receiving yards to be had in this one and Waddle will easily get 70 of them.
Dolphins Total Points Over 30.5 (-110)
Mike McDaniel is the NFL’s newest offensive genius, so you know he’s going to have cooked something up in the bye week. It’ll be an offensive explosion Sunday against the 26th best defense in terms of EPA/Play.
