This could be the ultimate, “are we sure they’re good?” game. The Miami Dolphins are 3-2 after a loss to the Jets without Tua Tagovailoa or Teddy Bridgewater for much of it. They do have wins over the Bills and Bengals, but I’m not sure they are good. I’m not sure the Minnesota Vikings are good either. They’ve barely beaten the Bears and Lions and got killed by the Eagles. Even at 4-1, I’m not sure they’re good either.

Instead of trying to diagnose which of these teams is good, let’s just play the prop market because when it comes to Tyreek Hill and Justin Jefferson, I’m sure they’re good.

Best Prop Bets For Vikings vs. Dolphins

  • Tyreek Hill Over 63.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
  • Justin Jefferson Longest Reception Over 26.5 yards (-115)
  • Raheem Mostert Over 58.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Tyreek Hill Over 63.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Yes, he might have Skylar Thompson at quarterback this week, but Hill is such a dynamic player and I trust Mike McDaniel to scheme up ways to get him the ball in space. Hill had seven receptions for 47 yards last week and that was without McDaniel game planning for Thompson to play. It might come on six or seven screen passes, but anytime you get Hill’s receiving yardage in the 60s you have to take the over.

Justin Jefferson Longest Reception Over 26.5 yards (-115)

Jefferson was supposed to be totally unlocked in Kevin O’Connell’s system that he brought over from LA. However, Jefferson only has two touchdowns and is averaging a career low 13.9 yards per reception. However, he does have some long receptions including a 64 yarder. I think there is value at 26.5, because he has gone over this total in three of five games.

Raheem Mostert Over 58.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Raheem Mostert has established himself as the No. 1 guy in the Miami backfield. Chase Edmonds looked like that guy to start the year and Myles Gaskin has had opportunities, but Mostert got 69% of the snaps last week against New York and has 18 carries for 113 yards. He’s going to get the most touches in the backfield again this week and as long as he stays healthy he is a dynamic runner.
