The Seattle Seahawks are hoping to keep themselves alive in not only the NFC playoff race, but for the NFC West division crown when they take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 14

With Kenneth Walker III expected to miss this game for Seattle, there could be some prop opportunities available on the Seattle side. Plus, I think Sam Darnold getting another start gives value to two props for Carolina.

Here are the three prop bets to consider for this afternoon matchup:

Panthers vs. Seahawks Best NFL Prop Bets

  • D.J. Moore OVER 50.5 Receiving Yards
  • Sam Darnold to Throw an Interception
  • Geno Smith OVER 259.5 Passing Yards

D.J. Moore OVER 50.5 Receiving Yards

D.J. Moore had arguably his best game of the 2022 season with Darnold under center against the Denver Broncos in Week 12, catching four passes for 103 yards and a score.

Moore is insanely talented, but terrible quarterback play has limited him so far this season.

This is a low enough line against Seattle that I think Moore can clear it, especially if Carolina falls behind and has to throw the ball a lot.

Sam Darnold to Throw an Interception

Darnold avoided throwing a pick in his game against Denver, but let’s not forget how bad he’s been at turning the ball over in his career.

In 51 career games, Darnold has thrown 52 interceptions. Now, he has to take on a tough Seattle secondary that already has 11 picks on the season.

This is an easy fade of Darnold on Sunday.

Geno Smith OVER 259.5 Passing Yards

Geno Smith has cleared this passing yards number in four straight games and seven of his last 10 matchups.

With Walker III expected to be out, the Seahawks are likely going to rely more on their passing game in this matchup. Carolina has been good against the pass this season, but I still think this line is too low for Geno.

The Seahawks haven’t been blowing teams out, so if this game stays close, like the team’s win over the Los Angeles Rams did, Smith should have to air the ball out.
