Arguably the most fun way to bet on the NFL is through prop bets, as it allows you to back specific players, rather than committing to a team with your bet.

After seeing how each team operated in Week 1, where can we find value in the prop market in Week 2?

The BetSided team has predictions, picks, and props for every game on today's NFL slate, and here are some of the top prop picks for Sunday's action:

Best NFL Prop Bets for Week 2

  • Joe Flacco to Throw an Interception
  • Jonathan Taylor OVER 2.5 Receptions
  • Saquon Barkley OVER 27.5 Receiving Yards
  • CeeDee Lamb Under 54.5 Receiving Yards

Joe Flacco to Throw an Interception

The Cleveland Browns have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and they handled business in this prop last week, picking off Baker Mayfield.

Now, they face Joe Flacco, who is well past his prime, in Week 2 and I think it’s a great spot to back Flacco to toss his second pick of the season. Flacco wasn’t horrible in Week 1, but he also threw the ball 59 times.

If the Jets are in a negative game script again and forced to attack through the air, it becomes a numbers game. If Flacco is attempting 40-plus passes, there’s a good chance one of them ends up in a Browns defender’s hands. – Peter Dewey

Jonathan Taylor OVER 2.5 Receptions

I want to bet on Jonathan Taylor, but I don’t want to back his rushing prop that’s over 100 yards.

Instead, I see value in his receptions prop, because even with Nyheim Hines, Taylor is still very involved in the passing game.

He had seven targets last week, bringing in four of them. With Michael Pittman Jr. out, Taylor is going to see a lot of the workload on the ground and through the air. – Donnavan Smoot

Saquon Barkley OVER 27.5 Receiving Yards

Saquon Barkley was heavily involved in the passing game in Week 1, getting seven targets and catching six of them for 30 yards.

I expect Barkley, who looked particularly explosive in Week 1 to be a big part of the passing game again. We'll get to the Daniel Jones prop bet below, but he had the fourth lowest average depth of target in Week 1 and I expect check downs for the Giants QB, meaning a ton of usage for Barkley.

With a juiced receptions prop, I'll turn to the receiving yards prop to get back Barkley in the passing game. – Reed Wallach

CeeDee Lamb Under 54.5 Receiving Yards

CeeDee Lamb had two grabs for 29 yards last week with Dak Prescott at quarterback for the entire game.

Then this week, Jerry Jones called him out in the media saying he needed to make more catches through coverage. It does not look good for Lamb as a No. 1 receiver in his third year especially without Prescott for a few weeks. – Josh Yourish
