It’s a cross-state rivalry in Week 8 with the Eagles the only remaining undefeated team. Philly is coming off a bye and Pittsburgh is 2-5 after a heart-breaking loss to Miami last week. This could easily go from bad to worse for the Steelers. I’m a Western PA native, so I’ll never bet against my team, instead I’ll be relying on hitting a few prop bets to give me some happiness on Sunday.

Best Props for Steelers vs. Eagles

  • Dallas Goedert Under 47.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
  • Kenny Pickett Over 1.5 Interceptions (+165)
  • Najee Harris Over 47.5 Rush Yards (-114)

Dallas Goedert Under 47.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Goedert has been a solid receiving tight end this year, but this bet is based on TJ Watt’s potential return to the lineup. The Eagles have an elite offensive line, but no matter who is your right tackle you have to give them help against Watt. Goedert will spend a lot of time chipping and it will inhibit his ability to get out into his route.

Kenny Pickett Over 1.5 Interceptions (+165)

Matt Canada’s offense is a joke. If he was the offensive coordinator of your high school team you would want him fired. Pickett’s only option on any given play is a seven yard comeback route on the sideline. It’s not an efficient way to run an offense at all and it forces Pickett to make ill-advised throws once they get behind in a game. Pickett will play smart and take what he is given in the first half, but when it is time to make a play he will have to force something into tight coverage and get picked like he did twice at the end of last week’s game.

Najee Harris Over 47.5 Rush Yards (-114)

Okay, I’ve been fading Najee Harris constantly, but now they are daring me to take his over. His rushing total has come down so far that I actually see value backing Harris this week. I don’t think he is explosive as a runner, I think this offense is stagnant and terrible, and I think this offensive line isn’t capable, but 47.5 is just too low. He’s going to get 15-20 carries and if he doesn’t get 50 yards that is a true disaster.
