We have less than two weeks to go in the NHL regular season, so it's the final dash for teams to lock up a spot in the postseason.

Monday night features a small, three game slate, but all three matchups have playoff implications.

Things get started off at 8 p.m. EST between the Vegas Golden knights and Minnesota Wild. Both teams are desperately clinging on to the top spot in their respective divisions, each other a one-point lead over the team in second place.

The Golden Knights beat the Wild by a final score of 4-1 on Saturday in Vegas, but now they head to Minnesota where they are set as slight underdogs.

The second game is a matchup between two Cental Division opponents. The Dallas Stars are close to locking up a playoff spot, but they're also still alive in the rave for the division, tied alongside the Avalanche for being one point back from the lead.

Meanwhile, the Predators can't afford another loss if they want to sneak into a wild cat spot. With seven games to go, they're five points back from the Jets for the final spot in the Western Conference.

The Stars are set as sizable home favorites.

Finally, the final game of the night is a matchup between the Seattle Kaken and Arizona Coyotes. The Kraken are holding on to the top wild card spot in the Western Conference, but they can't afford to stumble down the stretch or they could be in danger of losing it.

Meanwhile, the Coyotes season is all but over. They'll hope for luck at the NHL Draft Lottery as teams are vying for the right to draft eventual No. 1 overall pick, Connor Bedard.

Unsurprisingly, the Kraken are big favorites against Arizona tonight.
