Best NHL Odds for Every Game Today (Odds, Puck Lines, Totals and Betting Promos for Thursday, December 1)
By Ben Heisler
While the NBA schedulers decided to put up just one game on the board tonight with Thursday Night Football in action, the NHL is taking advantage of a big window of action.
11 games are on tap this Thursday evening around the league, with several above .500 teams matching up on the ice.
In the early window, the New Jersey Devils are streaking once again, winners of three straight after being thwarted by the Toronto Maple Leafs back on Wednesday, November 23 to set the franchise record for most consecutive wins at 14. They host the Nashville Predators at the Prudential Center this evening at 7 p.m. ET as a major favorite at over -200 odds.
Also in the early window, the Vegas Golden Knights head to Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins, as two All Star centers match up in Jack Eichel and Sidney Crosby. Pittsburgh had won five straight games before taking a 4-1 loss to the Maple Leafs last Saturday, and have lost two consecutive games since. Pittsburgh has been amongst the streakiest teams in hockey, with a five game winning streak as well as a seven game losing streak already in 2022.
Vegas comes in as an elite road team this season, going 10-1-1 away from home this year. Despite their superb record away from home, they enter as slight underdogs on the road.
