Following Tuesday's 12-game monster slate of hockey, Wednesday brings a much quieter 3-game slate to the table, with two games nationally televised on TNT.

At 6:30 p.m ET, two former Western Conference rivals from Michigan and Minnesota match up in St. Paul tonight as the Detroit Red Wings face the Minnesota Wild.

Detroit has lost three straight, and have seen the under hit in six straight games, as well as four consectutive matchups on the road. The Wings have played relatively well away from home; going 6-4-3 this year. They've also been a very good puck line team on the road at 8-5, compared to Minnesota at just 5-10.

Despite both teams being four games above .500 this year, the Wild are the biggest favorite on the board tonight.

In the late game, the Saddledome in Calgary hosts a pair of Canadian clubs in the Pacific Division as the Flames host the Vancouver Canucks.

After a terrible seven game winless streak to start to the season, Vancouver has only lost three times since November 23, going 6-3 in their last nine games. However, it's worth nothing that four of those wins all came in overtime.

Calgary has also been inconsistent over the first few months of the season. They've had a seven-game losing streak already this year from October 29 - November 10, as well as two 3-game winning and losing streaks. The Flames went 0-3 on their recent three game road trip, with their last two losses coming in overtime and a shootout. They've been significantly better at home, winning 10 of their 13 games at the Saddledome.

BetSided's Iain MacMillan broke down all three games to wager on in his "Best Bets" column HERE. He's currently 86-75-1 (+5.69 units) for the season, including a 3-0 sweep on Tuesday.
