The race for the NHL Playoffs is becoming a tight one in the final days of the regular season, especially the wild card battle in the Eastern Conference.

There are 10 games set to take place across the league on Tuesday night and at the conclusion of the games, the playoff picture will become a little bit more clear.

One of the most important games is a 7:30pm et puck drop between the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins. The Penguins hold their own destiny in the Eastern Conference and can make the postseason by winning their final two games. Luckily, they play two of the worst teams in the league in those games including the Chicago Blackhawks tonight.

The Penguins are big favorites, but they need to keep their focus and not stumble in an extremely winnable game.

Another big game set for tonight is the Colorado Avalanche against the Edmonton Oilers. Both teams are still battling for the top spot in their respective divisions.

The Avalanche currently hold the top spot in the Central, tied with the Dallas Stars but holding a game in hand. A loss tonight will put them in a true tie with Dallas as both teams will be sitting at 104 points.

Meanwhile, the Edmonton Oilers are just two points back from the Vegas Golden Knights in the Pacific. If the Oilers can win and the Golden Knights lose to the Kraken, they'd be sitting in a tie for first place in the division.

The Oilers are slight favorites to get the win in Colorado.

Let's take a look at the full list of best available betting odds for tonight's NHL action.
