Best NRFI and YRFI Bets Today (Back Bo Bichette & Blue Jays)
By Josh Yourish
Yesterday was not my day. I went 0-2 on my No Run First Inning and Yes Run First Inning bets. I just didn’t have the feel for the board, but today I know we are back. We’re going to go 2–0 on these bets and that will set up the rest of our gambling day. I'm going to bounce back today and so is Aaron Nola.
That takes us to our first bet so let’s check out the odds and get ready to win some cash on the first inning.
Best NRFI Bet Today
Marlins vs. Phillies -148
The Miami Marlins have been horrible offensively lately. They have an OPS below .500 over the past seven days. They simply can’t score and have only managed nine runs over their last seven games, all losses. Now, they face Aaron Nola and it won’t get easier. Jesus Luzardo is pitching for Miami tonight and has been very good in the early innings this season. He has a 2.25 ERA in the first and second inning this year.
The odds aren’t great for this one, but to me it’s a layup.
Best YRFI Bet Today
Blue Jays vs. Orioles -122
The Blue Jays put up 15 runs in their doubleheader against the Orioles yesterday. Bo Bichette had seven RBI himself. Their hot offense gets to face Kyle Bradish and his ERA that is still north of five despite two solid starts in a row. The Orioles get to face Mitch White who has allowed 13 runs over his last two starts for Toronto.
