It’s a little bit of a lighter slate in the MLB today, but that does not mean there aren’t ways to make some money. This matchup features Shane Bieber and Chris Archer on the mound. Now you may think I’ve targeted this because of Bieber, but actually, Chris Archer has been one of my favorite pitchers to back with a bet like this. Archer does not go long into games, but has been super effective the first two times through the order. In June, he has a 1.57 ERA over five starts.

Brewers vs. Pirates YRFI (-132)
A bit steeper odds on this one, but that is for good reason. The top of the Pirates order features Bryan Reynolds who is hotter than hot.

He homered three times yesterday against Washington. So far this month, he has eight homers, 19 RBI and a slash line of .337/.384/.624. You get him at the top of the order, and I like the chances of a run in the first inning of this one.
