Thank God we have four games again today, because I need options and I need all the help I can get. An 0-2 day yesterday was brutal, but we are going to bounce back on the No Run First Inning and Yes Run First Inning bets. The process is still sound, we know what we’re doing here and we are going to hit both today.

Dodgers vs. Padres (-128)

This is a matchup of two former Pittsburgh Pirates which as you probably know by now, hits close to home for me. It would have been nice to have these two in the Buccos rotation this season, but alas. Tyler Anderson has been great this season with a 2.57 ERA and in his last outing of the season he had 10 strikeouts in five innings against Colorado.

Joe Musgrove has an even more impressive track record as of late. Musgrove looked like a real Cy Young contender early in the season, then tailed off a bit, but he is back to the form in the postseason. He went seven scoreless innings in Queens to knock off the Mets and allowed just one hit and one walk.

Yankees vs. Guardians (+124)

This is the game with the lowest total on the slate today and I actually have the under in this game. Triston McKenzie was great in the Wild Card round and Aaron Judge may have lost it going 0-5 with four Ks yesterday. However, I think Cleveland will have some momentum after getting the win late yesterday and I’m worried about Luis Severino after a long layoff. He hasn’t pitched since October 3rd and we’ve seen other pitchers look shaky after extended time off.
