Best NRFI Bets Today (No Run First Inning Bets for April 21)
I didn't quite have the NRFI season debut that was I hoping for yesterday. I went 1-2 with the Yankees and Tigers being my only winner. Of course the Angels scored six runs in the top of the first, and then there wasn't another run scored for the next eight and a half innings.
That's okay, at least we won one! We're back on it today, hoping for my first 3-0 NRFI Sweep.

Top NRFI Bets for April 21
Orioles vs. Athletics NRFI -135
The full game UNDER is undefeated for the Orioles this season at 0-11-1. A big reason for that is they have the fifth lowest ERA in the Majors at 2.57. Their starter today, Tyler Wells, has an ERA of 6.35, but Oakland ranking 22nd in OPS doesn't give me a whole lot of concern.
Meanwhile, the Orioles rank dead last in the Majors so far this season in runs in the first inning, averaging just 0.08. It's a little bit juicy at -135, but let's get the day started off with a win.
Diamondbacks vs. Nationals NRFI -105
Speaking of a team who is only averaging 0.08 runs in the first inning, the Diamondbacks are tied with the Orioles at the bottom of the Majors. The Nationals have been a lot better, ranking 11th while averaging 0.64, but they have scored in the first inning in three-straight games.
The two teams also rank near the bottom in OPS, with Washington coming in at 24th (.619) and the Diamondbacks coming in at 29th (.563).
Rangers vs. Mariners NRFI -120
The Rangers are putting out lefty Taylor Hearn tonight, and while he has a 4.70 ERA, the Mariners have been performing worse against lefties (.616 OPS) compared to righties (.720).
The Texas offense as a whole ranks 19th in OPS (.653), but Marco Gonzales has got off to a solid start this season, sporting a 3.00 ERA through his first two starts. I like this bet at -120 odds.
