Saturday night first inning bets? Sounds good to me.

It’s a loaded night slate of games and there is absolutely value to be found all over the board. I’ve sifted through everything to share my best bets of the day with you, and these first inning bets are always some of my favorites and my best.

You can find odds for these bets at WynnBET Sportsbook:

Best NRFI Bet Today

Oakland Athletics vs. Chicago White Sox (-118)

One of the best combinations for an NRFI bet is to find a team with an abysmal offense and a good starting pitcher on the mound. That’s exactly what we have with Oakland today. Paul Blackburn was A’s lone all-star and he takes the mound today for Oakland against Chicago.

He is a good not great starter, but should have enough success to get out of the first inning clean.

Johnny Cueto on the other side, should have no issue with Oakland's offense which ranks last in the MLB in OPS at .620.

Best YRFI Bet Today

Kansas City Royals vs. New York Yankees (-142)

The Yankees host the Royals tonight at Yankee Stadium and Kansas City gives the ball to Jonathan Heasley. That could spell trouble for the Royals and it could be trouble early. In the last outing for Heasley, he only lasted an inning and a third before getting removed. In those four outs he allowed five earned runs and another unearned run to come across as well.

Heasley has not pitched since that outing on July 9 and will certainly not be eased back into the rotation facing the Yankees in the Bronx.
