There are a lot of great pitching matchups out there on a Thursday in Major League Baseball, but I was able to hunt down an extra Yes Run First Inning bet for the people today.

The No Run First Inning pick is no slouch either as two of the hottest pitchers in baseball go head-to-head.

Let’s get right to it and when placing your NRFI and YRFI bets check out WynnBET Sportsbook

Best NRFI Bet Today

Diamondbacks vs. Giants -150

This isn’t great odds for a NRFI bet, but considering the starting pitchers it is still a solid bet. Zac Gallen hasn’t given up a run in his last two starts and Logan Webb went 8.0 scoreless innings last time out.

Combine that with the 21st and 23rd ranked first innings offenses and you’ve got yourself an NRFI value.

Best YRFI Bets Today

Nationals vs. Padres -115

This bet really just comes down to Anibal Sanchez, the starting pitcher for the Nationals.

He has allowed a run in the first inning in half of his six starts this season. Additionally, his ERA is well north of seven on the season and is 4.50 in the first inning. His one credible outing on the season came against San Diego, but they are now familiar with an aging pitcher just brought in to eat innings and help get this team across the finish line.

Cubs vs. Orioles -115

The Chicago Cubs are not a very good offense in general this season, but they know how to get off to a hot start. Chicago owns the fifth-best first inning offense, generating 0.64 runs. It is the perfect storm for them to take the lead early today against Spenser Watkins.

While Watkins has been solid this season, he has had issues in the first frame. His first inning ERA is 5.14 compared to 1.93 in each of the next two innings.
