Best NRFI and YRFI Bets Today (Dylan Cease is Not Real and a Cornfield Conspiracy)
By Josh Yourish
It is a bit of a lighter slate in the MLB today, with only eight games, but one way to counteract that and make the day a little bit more exciting is with some No Run First Inning and Yes Run First Inning bets. There are some great bets out there today and I have brought you the absolute best I can find.
As always, let's make a little extra money and win some NRFI and YRFI bets. Odds for these bets are available at WynnBET Sportsbook.
Best NRFI Bet Today
Chicago White Sox vs. Kansas City Royals -130
Zack Greinke is on the mound for the Royals and while he hasn’t been great this season, he has been great at home. He is 3-2 at home with a 2.23 ERA compared to 0-5 and a 7.16 ERA on the road.
Greinke should pitch well enough to get through the top half of the first, and then the bottom… Yeah, Dylan Cease has got that covered.
Best YRFI Bet Today
Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds -115
I am putting the tin foil hat back on. Conspiracy Josh is coming back out.
He made an appearance at the Home Run Derby when I said that the MLB would juice the balls for Albert Pujols so he could at least win a round. I was absolutely right about that and I will be again today.
Last year, the Field of Dreams game was incredibly fun and also was a great matchup between the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox. This year they’ve thrown the Reds and Cubs at us and they have to be terrified that their showcase event will flop.
MLB will absolutely juice the balls for this one and they want offense early. They know people will turn it on to see the cornfield, but if the game isn’t exciting right away, nobody cares about two awful teams playing in Iowa.
Manfred will have his fingerprints all over this one.
