Best NRFI and YRFI Bets Today (Fade Jordan Lyles Early in Baltimore)
By Josh Yourish
We only have 18 teams in Major League Baseball action today, with many featuring games with massive favorites in what Vegas expects to be blowouts.
If you could use a way to spice up the action a little bit, then join me in placing some No Run First Inning and Yes Run First Inning bets today. That way, we don’t just have to wait for the outcome of the nine games today, we can start cashing bets in the second inning. Nothing better.
Odds for the NRFI and YRFI bets are available at WynnBET Sportsbook.
Best NRFI Bet Today
Guardians vs. Mariners -130
This bet is all about the Guardians. First of all Triston McKenzie, has been dominant his last three starts. His last outing, he struck out 14 over seven innings and allowed only two runs. He will continue to shove today, but the Guardians lineup is just as big of a reason.
The Guardians OPS against lefties is about 80 points lower than against righties. They will have trouble facing Marco Gonzales today.
Best YRFI Bet Today
White Sox vs. Orioles -110
Lance Lynn has pitched better lately, but those efforts only have his ERA down to 5.30. His last outing he only allowed one run. However, all season long, his worst innings have been in the first. He has a 6.23 ERA in the first inning, allowing an .855 OPS.
Jordan Lyles goes for Baltimore and when he is on the mound the Orioles know they’ll have to win a shootout. Over his last two starts, Lyles has given up eight runs in 8.1 innings pitched.
