Wednesday is jam-packed with MLB betting action for us to tackle from a bunch of different angles.

At BetSided we have been giving out daily No Run First Inning (NRFI) and Yes Run First Inning (YRFI) bets. Let's take a look at a couple of games that have value on these props as I see them and start the weekend off in the black. All odds used were provided by WynnBET Sportsbook.

Best NRFI and YRFI Bets for Wednesday, June 29

Baltimore Orioles vs. Seattle Mariners YRFI (-115)

Since being acquired by the Orioles at the start of June, each of Voth’s five appearances featured at least one first-inning run. This includes coughing up three runs to the Kansas City Royals last week and one against the Blue Jays in the game prior. The Orioles may not do much to help this prop at the plate, but all they need to do is allow a first-inning run to cash this bet.

Chris Flexin, Seattle’s starter today, also has a bad habit of giving up early runs recently. Flexin gave up multiple first-inning runs in two of his last four starts heading into today.

Miami Marlins vs. St. Louis Cardinals NRFI (-130)

Two electric young arms go head-to-head today when Sandy Alcantara and the Marlins do battle with Andre Pallante and the Cardinals. Alcantara is a potential Cy Young candidate with his third-best ERA (1.95) and sixth-ranked WHIP (0.95). His ERA in June has been even better at 1.86 and Alcantara has two shutouts in his previous five games. Furthermore, Alcantara has allowed just a single first-inning run in his last seven starts.

Pallante meanwhile has been one of the biggest breakout stars of the entire league. The rookie right-hander has a phenomenal 2.03 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in  48 ⅔ innings. While he spent most of the season in the bullpen, Pallante will make his fifth start of the year tonight. Pallante has allowed a single run in the first inning in those starts. On top of that, the Marlins rank 29th in the league in scoring runs in the first inning while the Mariners are 15th.
