NRFI (no run first inning) and YRFI (yes run first inning) bets have taken the MLB betting world by storm in 2022.

They're exciting, suspenseful, and quick. You only need to watch one inning of baseball to find out if your bet cashes.

So let's dive right into my best NRFI and YRFI bets for Wednesday, July 27.

All listed odds are via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Best NRFI and YRFI Bets Today

Twins vs. Brewers NRFI (-125)

No team scores more first inning runs than the Twins at 0.73, but even with that being the case, I'm going to take the NRFI in their game against the Brewers today.

It's going to be a solid pitchers duel between Chris Archer (3.41 ERA) and Corbin Burnes (2.20 ERA). Not only that, but both arms have been fantastic in the first inning. Archer owns a 1.69 ERA in the first, his best amongst all innings, and Burnes has a first inning ERA of 0.95.

Nationals vs. Dodgers YRFI (-120)

I have two words for you: Patrick. Corbin.

The Nationals lefty sports a horrid ERA of 6.02 this season, including a 5.85 ERA in the first inning. Now, he has to face a Dodgers team that ranks sixth in first inning runs per game at 0.63.

The Nationals also are solid in scoring runs in the first inning, ranking ninth in the Majors at 0.61.

Cardinals vs. Blue Jays YRFI (-105)

Few teams score more runs in the first inning than the St. Louis Cardinals. They average 0.65 runs per first inning, outdone only by the Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, and Chicago Cubs.

The Blue Jays aren't too shabby themselves, ranking 11th in first inning runs per game at 0.58. That number should increase today, as they face Adam Wainwright of the Cardinals, who is notoriously subpar in the first inning. He holds a 3.79 ERA in the first inning this season, which is worse than his total season ERA of 3.40.
