Best Prop Bets for Jaguars vs. Lions in Week 13 (Zay Jones' Ascension To Continue)

The Jacksonville Jaguars had their moment last week in a 28-27 win over Baltimore that ended on a game-winning touchdown drive by Trevor Lawrence and a clutch two-point conversion to close it out. They’re the team of the moment, but the Detroit Lions have won three of their last four and nearly knocked off Buffalo on Thanksgiving.
This is the battle for which young team is next up in the NFL, and I’ve put together some of my favorite prop bets for this one.
Best NFL Prop Bets for Jaguars vs. Lions
- Trevor Lawrence Over 247.5 Pass Yards
- Zay Jones Over 4.5 Receptions
- Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 73.5 Receiving Yards
Trevor Lawrence Over 247.5 Pass Yards
If Lawrence is for real, then he better throw for 250 at least against Detroit. The Lions have the fourth worst pass defense in the NFL, allowing 259.9 yards per game. Lawrence was able to throw for 321 yards and three touchdowns. I think this will be a good game for offense and if the Jaguars are to keep Lawrence will need to have a big game.
Zay Jones Over 4.5 Receptions
Jones was on the receiving end of 11 of Lawrence’s 29 completions last week and might be emerging as the go-to guy in this offense. He turned those 11 catches into 145 yards against Baltimore, who has a bad secondary, but not as bad as Detroit.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 73.5 Receiving Yards
Detroit’s No. 1 receiver is having another big year in this offense and the Jaguars are much more susceptible to the passing game. Over the past three games Jacksonville has allowed more pass yards than any team in the league outside of Minnesota. Goff could easily throw for 300 yards in this game and if that’s the case, St. Brown will need to get to 100.
