Both of these teams can honestly look themselves in the mirror and say “We’re not dead yet.” The Pittsburgh Steelers are on the ropes at 4-7, but aren’t out of it in the AFC playoff picture, while the 5-7 Falcons can lose this week and still be hanging around for the NFC South crown.

That will make this an intense game, but the struggles that these pass defenses have experience in 2022 will make it an exciting game. No two teams have allowed more passes of 20 or more yards this season, so we could get fireworks in Atlanta. That means we’ve got to get in on the prop market.

Best NFL Prop Bets for Steelers vs. Falcons

  • Diontae Johnson Anytime TD +220
  • Drake London Over 35.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
  • Kenny Pickett Over 220.5 Pass Yards (-120)

Diontae Johnson Anytime TD

No, Diontae Johnson has not scored a touchdown this season, and his frustration is mounting. However, he did have a TD slip right through his hands in Week 12 against the Colts and he made five catches in that game. Kenny Pickett played his best game of the season last week and I think that carries over against a terrible pass defense. The Falcons will likely view George Pickens as the No. 1 receiver and rightfully so. That means Pickens will draw AJ Terrell often and Diontae Johnson will be able to have his best game.

Drake London Over 35.5 Receiving Yards

The Steelers could give up 36 receiving yards on any play. This pass defense is a mess and even Marcus Mariota should be able to take advantage a little bit. Drake London is a talented, big-bodied receiver and those type of guys have destroyed the Steelers. AJ Brown embarrassed them with six catches for 156 yards and three touchdowns, Tee Higgins had nine grabs for 148 yards and even Michael Pittman Jr. went for 61 yards and a TD on seven catches last week. London fits the profile of the type of receiver that dominates Pittsburgh’s secondary that is lacking a true No. 1 cornerback.

Kenny Pickett Over 237.5 Pass Yards

Pickett played his best game of the year against the Colts. He really showed a lot against the No. 5 pass defense in the league even though his numbers weren’t staggering. Now he gets to have a real showcase game against the fifth worst pass defense. Pickett is going to have a great day.
