The Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings face off for the final time this season.

Minnesota won the first game after staging a comeback late, starting their run to this point. Both teams are coming off wins and the Lions are starting to percolate.

Let’s dive into the prop market and handicap this game at the player level.

Best Prop Bets For Vikings-Lions

  • Dalvin Cook OVER 77.5 Rushing Yards
  • D’Andre Swift UNDER 63.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
  • Justin Jefferson OVER 94.5 Rushing Yards

Dalvin Cook OVER 77.5 Rushing Yards

Cook has cleared this line at a 50% rate over the last six weeks. Yet, there are two things that are promising. The first is that the VIkings continue to give him the ball no matter what. In the last six weeks, he’s averaging over 17 carries per game. The second thing that’s in his favor is the Lions’ poor run defense. They allow 5.2 yards per carry, which is 31st in the league. Cook is going to be set up for a big performance.

D’Andre Swift UNDER 63.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards

D’Andre Swift has been a big disappointment this year. Some of that has been due to injury, but he also hasn’t been the most efficient player. If he were to surpass this line, he’d need a lot of receiving yards, as he’s only gone over 20 yards rushing in five of his last six games. The Lions’ offense is humming, but Jamaal Williams’ usage poses a threat to Swift’s ceiling.

Justin Jefferson OVER 94.5 Rushing Yards

Jefferson has gone over this line mark in three of his last five games. Although he didn’t clear it the last time out, I like the line because he continues to see target after target after target. He’s gotten at least 11 targets in four of his last five games, which makes him a great bet going into any game. The Lions still have a suspect defense, so Jefferson is set to go off.
