Best Prop Bets for Warriors vs. Lakers (Expect Curry, Wiggins, LeBron to Have Big Games)
By Joe Summers
The 43-20 Golden State Warriors take on the 27-35 Los Angeles Lakers tonight at 5:30 PM PST.
Both squads are in a bit of a slump, with the Warriors dropping three straight and the Lakers going through, well uh...yeah. It's an abject disaster in Los Angeles. They're terrible.
So instead of looking to the spread or total, I've identified three prop bets for tonight's matchup with the help of WynnBET that present value instead:
Stephen Curry Over 25.5 Points (-125)
Curry has been in a bit of a slump over the last couple months but that's just giving us value on this line. The Lakers have been a poor defense all season and their perimeter defense is a big reason why. Russell Westbrook gambles too much, Malik Monk is too small and Austin Reaves is too inexperienced.
With Klay Thompson in the lineup, Curry will have more room to operate and I expect him to light the Lakers up tonight.
Andrew Wiggins over 16.5 Points (-105)
Wiggins is averaging 17.5 points per game and a stretch of poor play before the All-Star break is bringing this line down too far. He cleared this number the last time the Warriors played the Lakers and with the current disaster going on in Los Angeles, I'm happy to back him to do it once again.
He's averaging 14 shot attempts per game and as long as he gets close to that number he should score at least 17.
LeBron James to Record a Triple-Double (+850)
The King hasn't recorded a triple-double in a month, but he's no stranger to them against the Warriors. Every game is a huge one for the Lakers and that's going to require everything LeBron can give them.
He knows Los Angeles needs wins, and I expect we see the version of LeBron that just completely takes over games for the rest of the season. That means I'm thrilled to get odds this high on him to do exactly what he does: control the entire game in every way. He's notching a triple-double tonight.
