Build Your Own Bet: How to Same Game Parlay Broncos vs. Browns
By Ben Heisler
Same game parlays, particularly on stand-alone prime time games are a ton of fun. Bettors can still enjoy the intrigue of betting small and winning big if everything comes through, minus the waiting through an entire slate. You can focus in on one matchup and watch as your bets hopefully hit throughout the evening.
At WynnBET, their "Build Your Own Bet" feature consists of a variety of betting options; ranging from the spread, total, alternatives spreads and totals, and several unique prop bets and promos with multiple outcomes. Most sportsbooks have you choose between one number, say, for example, receiving yards.
In this game, Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton's receiving yards prop is set at 65.5. However, with a same-game parlay, you can get different odds at different outcomes, such as taking Sutton to go over 55 yards at -140 odds. When you parlay several bets together, you can cash in a longer odds if every leg hits.
Here is a sample "Build Your Own Bet" same-game parlay I like for Thursday Night Football between the Broncos and Cleveland Browns A $25 entry would win $150 at +600 odds!
Best Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Broncos at Browns
- Broncos +3.5 (-160)
- Teddy Bridgewater 215+ Passing Yards (-150)
- Case Keenum 205+ Passing Yards (-130)
- Courtland Sutton 55+ Receiving Yards (-140)
- D'Ernest Johnson 45+ Rushing Yards (-175)
Move Broncos Spread to +3.5
This was where the Broncos' line had sat for most of the week until the news came out that Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt and Baker Mayfield would all miss tonight's game, causing the line at WynnBET to move down two points to +1.5. At least by moving the line back up to past a field goal, you get past a key number of three as an underdog on the road.
Meanwhile, in case you need any more reason to back Teddy Bridgewater, he covers like a blanket, especially on the road. Bridgewater is 19-2 ATS as a road underdog in his career. Expect him to go to 20-2 tonight, especially with that enhanced number.
Teddy Bridgewater 215+ Passing Yards
Bridgewater has cleared this number in every game expect for the one that knocked him out in Week 4 against the Ravens. The Browns have been torched the last two weeks and while I expect them to play better versus Denver, I'd be stunned if this doesn't hit well into the second half.
Case Keenum 205+ Passing Yards (-130)
Keenum isn't a slouch. He's a quality NFL backup who's taken his team to the NFC Championship game during his time in Minnesota.
Cleveland has the ability to use heavy play action to try and keep the Broncos front-seven on their toes. Like Bridgewater, I would anticipate Keenum taking some shots downfield and passing this number easily.
Courtland Sutton 55+ Receiving Yards (-140)
Sutton has seen 25 targets in the past two weeks, catching 15 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns. He's the focal point of Denver's passing offense and should be treated as such. We're getting a 10 yard discount with the number down to 55+ as well.
D'Ernest Johnson 45+ Rushing Yards (-175)
Johnson actually leads all running backs tonight in prop bet numbers with 58.5 projected rushing yards at WynnBET; more than both Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams.
With both of their top backs out tonight, Cleveland needs Johnson to run behind their excellent offensive line to open up play-action for Keenum downfield. The Browns are one of the safest teams to trust in running the ball because play-action is a cornerstone of their offense. Johnson should at least get to 45+ as the lone option.
