The Kansas City Chiefs can snatch away a shot for a division title when they head to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles vs. the Chargers this evening. L.A. (8-5) sits one game back of K.C (9-4) as they try to sweep the Chiefs this season, snap K.C.'s' six-game winning streak, and own the tiebreaker in the AFC West.

Earlier today, BetSided's Reed Wallach shared three of his favorite prop bets for Thursday Night Football, one of which will be featured here.

Same game parlays, particularly on stand-alone prime time games, are a ton of fun. Bettors can still enjoy the intrigue of betting small and winning big if everything comes through, minus the waiting through an entire slate. You can focus in on one matchup and watch as your bets hopefully hit throughout the evening.

At WynnBET, you can build your own same-game parlay with a variety of betting options; ranging from the spread, total, alternatives spreads and totals, and several unique prop bets and promos with multiple outcomes. Most sportsbooks have you choose between one number, say, for example, receiving yards.

In this week’s Thursday Night Football matchup between the L.A. Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs, with Kansas City currently listed as 3-point favorites. BetSided has you covered with a parlay where you can jump in on some favorable odds.

Here is a sample same-game parlay I like where a $25 entry would win $443.45 with +1774 odds.

Best Same Game Parlay for Chiefs vs. Chargers

  • Patrick Mahomes OVER 25.5 Completions (-110)
  • Justin Herbert OVER 16.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
  • Justin Herbert Anytime TD (+425)

Patrick Mahomes OVER 25.5 Completions (-110)

It's easy to assume that the Chiefs' running game will get the bulk of the work against a Chargers run defense that's allowing the second-most rushing yards in the league, but if Herbert continues his stellar play, Kansas City will be forced to throw to keep up.

Mahomes and the Chiefs gave the ball away four times at home back in Week 3, and will likely go back to a more efficient game plan to stay on the field and control time of possession. He hasn't hit this number in four of the last five games, but with stakes as high as they are, they'll want the ball in their best player's hands.

Justin Herbert OVER 16.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Our Reed Wallach wrote this play up earlier in our top prop bets article for Thursday Night Football and I'm on board with Herbert having a solid game on the ground.

Herbert is averaging more than 20 rushing yards per game, and while he's only gone above 16.5 in five matchups this season, the average is far greater because it's incorporated into the game plan.

In three games vs. Kansas City, Herbert has run the ball 14 times. The Chiefs' defense, while drastically improved, still ranks 20th out of 32 in Run DVOA at Football Outsiders.

Who are the BetSided guys taking for their "Best Bets" tonight when the Chargers and Chiefs match up in L.A? We share our favorites on a new "Bet & Breakfast" podcast!

Justin Herbert Anytime TD (+425)

The line has since moved from where it opened at +500, but I love this even in a same game parlay.

Herbert has rushed for two scores in three games vs. the Chiefs, and without starting left tackle Rashawn Slater, he may be pressed into more scrambling opportunities with pressure coming from inside with Chris Jones (if he is cleared to play) as well as from Melvin Ingram on the outside.

Herbert has a nose for the end zone vs. the Chiefs and especially with this sharp move, I expect he gets in over the course of the game.
