Best Same Game Parlay for Liverpool vs. Real Madrid in Champions League Final
By Matt De Saro
We are running out of days to preview the UEFA Champions League Final between Liverpool and Real Madrid. So, let's make the most of the time we have and break down a cheeky same game parlay for this epic showdown at the Stade de France. All odds listed were provided by WynnBET Sportsbook.
Best Same Game Parlay for Liverpool vs Real Madrid
- Both Teams to Score (-160)
- Liverpool First Team to Score (-130)
- Real Madrid Last Team to Score (+125)
Both Teams to Score (-160)
While this seems like a pretty obvious win, the last three UCL finals all featured clean sheets on one side. Manchester City (2021), PSG (2020), and Tottenham (2019) were all held scoreless in the biggest game of the season. But, I don’t see that happening for the fourth year on the trot.
Liverpool ranks second in total goals in the Champions League with 30 while Real Madrid ranks fourth at 28. Liverpool also leads all other teams with 199 attempts on goal and 72 shots on target. With an average of 2.5 goals per game for Liverpool and 2.34 per match for Real Madrid, I don’t see this game ending with a shutout on either end.
Liverpool First Team to Score (-130)
As I mentioned in my best props for the UCL Finals piece, Real Madrid is a team known for starting slow. While I do think Real Madrid is worth an underdog bet, it’s in spite of Los Blancos' lack of early game oomph. They scored first in five of their last six elimination games in the UCL. They have the same slow starts across all the leagues they participate in and rely heavily on a come from behind mentality.
Real Madrid Last Team to Score (+125)
This pick goes hand in hand with my previous pick for Liverpool to score first. As I expect Real Madrid to win this game, it only makes sense that they would score last. They have time and time again fallen behind early, only to mount a comeback and win against all odds. This is how Real Madrid operates and I see no reason to think this game will be any different than their previous six.
