Following Monday's three-game slate in the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, four more matches come our way this Tuesday from Qatar.

Bright and and early, Saudi Arabia takes on Argentina as Lionel Messi likely plays his final World Cup Group stage series. That's then followed by the situation in Tunisia vs. Denmark. In the night matchups (late morning / early afternoon), Poland faces Mexico in the most likely evenly-matched game on the pitch, with defending champion France concluding the day against Australia.

Let's go through all four matchups on the board, beginning at 5 a.m. ET between Saudi Arabia and Argentina.

Saudi Arabia vs. Argentina Odds, Prediction and Pick

Argentina is riding a 35-game unbeaten streak, going all the way to 2019 as Lionel Messi participates in perhaps his final World Cup run of his career, and yet even with all the fanfare heading into Tuesday's action, I can't justify backing Argentina to cover a spread of 2.5 goals against a defensive-minded Saudi Arabia team.

The odds are tempting, given Argentina's explosive goal-scoring threats with Lionel Messi and Lautaro Martínez ready to explode, but I think we're walking into a trap by taking that big of a spread this early in the day. With the exception of a 1-1 draw with Ecuador, the Argentinians have shut out their opponents in every matchup.

PICK: UNDER 3.5

Tunisia vs. Denmark Odds, Prediction and Pick

For as much love as Denmark has received in the World Cup this year, it's easy to forget that the entire country's history in the World Cup has been a lot of failure. Their quarterfinals appearance back in 1998 is the furthest this team has ever gone.

Meanwhile, Tunisia comes in playing well, but Denmark's defense appears to be too strong for them to handle for a consistent period of time.

Denmark could easily pull it away at the very end, but I'll still lean under simply because I'm not sure how their competition will score against them.

PICK: UNDER 2.5 Goals

Poland vs. Mexico Odds, Prediction and Pick

I'll take my chances with a draw between two relatively matched teams out in Quatar.

Poland star Robert Lewandowski can't beat Mexico City's back line and midfield on his own at this stage of his career, but he can still make it interesting. Meanwhile, Mexico City has plenty of veteran experience and a quality defense to keep Lewandowski from reaching much more paydirt

I expect this to be 1-1 with about 80 minutes to go, and both teams choosing to not make the big mistake to cough up another lead.

PICK: DRAW +220

Australia vs. France Odds, Prediction and Pick

The French team resides as a -400 favorite against Australia, but I'll be fading the reigning champions in their opening round matchup this week.

Well, sort of.

Vegas Insider points out, "Since 1998, if you had bet $10 on the opponents of defending World Cup champions to win in each match featuring a defending champion, you would have made a profit of $502.30 from $240 wagered, a massive return of 209%."

I don't anticipate France's lack of fire-power turning off their intensity offensively, but defensively is where this team could struggle ,

PICK: OVER 2.5
