The San Francisco 49ers can clinch the NFC West on Thursday Night Football when they face their divisional foe, the Seattle Seahawks, on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 15.

The Niners have won six straight games and look for a repeat performance of their Week 2 victory over Seattle, where they won by a final score of 27-7.

Can they get it done? Let's dive into the latest odds and then I'll give you my best bet.

49ers vs. Seahawks Odds, Spread, and Total

49ers vs. Seahawks Odds, Spread, and Total Movement

The 49ers opened as 3.5-point favorites and the spread has remained steady at most sportsbooks. At some places, the line has moved down half a point to 49ers -3.

On a similar note, the opening total of 43.5 has been steady at most sportsbooks, but has dropped to 43 on select apps.

49ers vs. Seahawks Prediction and Pick

I don't know how long the Brock Purdy train is going to stay on the tracks, but I'm going to keep riding it until I can't anymore. If nothing else, it's fun to cheer for Mr. Irrelevant.

The 49ers can lean on their defense in this game, which remains dominant. They're third in the NFL in opponent yards per play, keeping teams to gaining only 4.8 yards per play. They'll prove to be the difference maker against Geno Smith, who has had some holes become visible in his game. He has thrown four interceptions in his last three games, and some of them have been blatently bad throws.

He struggled last week against the Panthers secondary and now he has to face a 49ers defense that ranks 7th in opponent yards per pass attempt. Not to mention, his worst game this season was in Week 2 against San Francisco, where he recorded a QB rating of 80.2.

Seattle's defense has also started to regress in recent weeks as well, allowing an average of 407.7 yards per game over their last three contests.

I think the 49ers will win, cover the spread, and clinch the division on Thursday night.
