Remember that BuffaloBills-Kansas City Chiefs AFC Divisional Round game? It feels like ages ago that Gabriel Davis had his official break out game.

Davis hauled in eight catches for 201 yards and four touchdowns in the losing efforts, but he proved his worth to this offense around Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. While Diggs is the No. 1 target, Davis may be in line for an uptick in targets given his fine play in 2021.

Davis, a 2020 fourth round pick, has caught 35 passes each of the past two seasons, but the third year leap may be coming, especially when we read reports from Bills beat reporter Joe Buscaglia that speak highly of the third year wideout when asked if he can replicate his performance in the Divisional Round (a sensationalized question):

"The reality is somewhere in the middle. While it’s unrealistic to think Davis can have that type of impact every week," Buscaglia wrote for The Athletic. "He’ll have far more opportunities than he ever has before. The Bills took things slowly with Davis over his first two years. He only played out of necessity in 2020, then once he turned a corner last year, he took over as WR2 by the end of the year. He’ll be a full-time starter for the first time in 2022 and is likely to bust loose as the best running mate Stefon Diggs has had since coming to Buffalo."

Buffalo Bills Regular Season Win Total, Odds

The Bills have the highest win total at WynnBET Sportsbook at 11.5 (Over -130/Under +100), so there's a chance Davis is catching passes in a big role for the best team in the league.

Furthermore, Buffalo is a massive favorite at -230 to win the AFC East, +300 to win the AFC and +650 to win the Super Bowl this season.
