Bet on Buccaneers' Team Totals With Tom Brady Running the Show
By Peter Dewey
Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dismantled the Philadelphia Eagles on Wild Card Weekend to advance to the divisional round of the playoffs next week.
Brady and the Bucs put up 31 points in the win, marking the fifth straight game that the Bucs have scored 30 or more points in a playoff game, with all of those games coming under Brady’s reign.
Buccaneers’ Playoff History Under Tom Brady
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Washington Football Team: Bucs win, 31-23
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints: Bucs win, 30-20
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Green Bay Packers: Bucs win, 31-26
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Kansas City Chiefs, Bucs win, 31-9
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Philadelphia Eagles: Bucs win, 31-15
What’s even crazier, is that despite putting up 30 or more points in all five of these games, the Bucs have actually hit the under (three times) more than the over (two times) in playoff games with Brady.
Part of that is due to the fact that the Buccaneers have a strong defense, but it also has to do with the inflated totals in some of the games based on the opponent that the Buccaneers were facing.
However, you can trust Brady, even without Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette, to put up big numbers on offense.
The Buccaneers are still waiting for their opponent in the divisional round, but if their team total is below 30.0 at WynnBET Sportsbook, it may be the best bet to make on the game.
Brady has carved up all kinds of defenses in his run as the Bucs quarterback, and it seems like Tampa Bay’s team total is a stronger bet than taking the over given the Bucs’ penchant for blowing teams out.
