George Kittle is mired in a three-game receiving slump after exploding in the previous three games for over 400 yards and three TDs.

Here's why he should return to his early December form against the Cowboys and how you can make some money on it.

First off, Kittle's total receiving yards prop is set at 53.5 yards at WynnBET Sportsbook, with the over a -125 favorite against the under at -115. That number makes sense given Kittle has been held to 10, 29, and 21 yards in his last three games. But the 49ers upped their usage of Kittle in their win over the Rams last week and that bodes well against a Cowboys team susceptible to giving up yards against tight ends.

This year, the Cowboys gave up an average 54.1 receiving yards per game to tight ends. Overall, they gave up 238.2 passing yards per game (20th in the NFL) and opponents have throw 36 passes per game against them (seventh-most in the NFL). Jimmy Garoppolo's OVER/UNDER for passing yards is 251.5 and his attempts is set at 31.5, suggesting the 49ers will follow the trend and pass heavily against the Cowboys. If that's the case, Kittle should get plenty of opportunities to go over the 53.5 yard mark.

Kittle got seven targets against the Rams last Sunday, which was his most targets in four weeks. When Kittle gets more than seven targets in a game, he goes over 54 receiving yards 80% of the time. So really this comes down to a volume play and I see the 49ers giving Kittle a lot of volume in this game.

The -125 odds aren't great, but everything else points to Kittle having a big game. The Cowboys are susceptible to giving up receiving yards to tight end and Kittle has been held to three sub-par games mostly because he hasn't gotten the volume needed to break out. The 49ers signaled they want to get him more involved last week and should carry that through against a Cowboys defense more susceptible against the pass than run.

Pick: George Kittle Over 53.5 receiving yards (-125)
