We're gearing up for the 2022 NFL season, and bettors are starting to place their bets on who they think is going to win Super Bowl 57.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Buffalo Bills are receiving the highest percentage of bets and money to win it all. After the Bills, there are a few surprising teams in the list. Let's take a look at the top 10 teams being bet on to win the Super Bowl, sorted by percentage of money being wagered:

Super Bowl 57 Betting Splits by % of Handle

  • Bills - 17%
  • Broncos - 7%
  • Chargers - 7%
  • Buccaneers - 7%
  • Chiefs - 6%
  • Rams - 6%
  • Bengals - 5%
  • Packers - 5%
  • Raiders - 3%
  • 49ers - 3%

Broncos Don't Deserve Love from Bettors

WynnBET Sportsbook has the Denver Broncos odds set at +1600 to win the Super Bowl, and I don't think the hype, or the amount of bets they've received, is warranted.

You're telling me that a team that finished 7-10 and in last place in their division, is all of a sudden going to win a Super Bowl because they traded for Russell Wilson? Sure, maybe if he was in his prime, but let's not pretend that Russ is the same QB he used to be.

Wilson was 10th among quarterbacks last season in QBR and 17th in completion percentage, completing only 64.8% of passes. It wasn't just a down year either, he ranked 8th in QBR the year before.

It's been a steady decline for the former Seahawks quarterback, and I don't think he's all of a sudden going to bring a Denver team several extra wins.

In 2021, Denver's defense was completely average. They ranked 14th in opponent yards per play and ninth in total opponent yards per game.

On top of all this, they have to compete in the toughest division in all of football. They have little to no hope to win the division with the Chiefs in control, so if they make a deep playoff run, all their games will likely be on the road.

Don't bet on the Denver Broncos this year. They're going to disappoint anyone who does.
