The Stefon Diggs trade has worked out wonderfully for the Buffalo Bills, as the All-Pro receiver had the best year of his career in 2020.

Diggs caught a career-high 127 passes for a career-high 1,535 yards, both which led the NFL. The first-time Pro Bowler added eight touchdown receptions in the 2020 campaign, and he is locked in as Josh Allen’s No. 1 weapon heading into this season.

WynnBET released its odds for the league leader in receiving yards for the 2021 season, and Vegas is backing Diggs to complete the feat once again. The Bills wideout has the best odds to lead the NFL in receiving yards at +550.

Ironically, the player the Minnesota Vikings took with the first-round pick that they received in the Diggs trade from Buffalo, Justin Jefferson, is third on the odds list at +750 behind Diggs and Michael Thomas (+650).

I think it’s safe to say that both teams got what they wanted out of that trade, but it was the Bills who made the AFC Championship Game last season thanks to the addition of Diggs.

With John Brown now in Las Vegas, Diggs is likely to see another major target share in 2021. Last season, Josh Allen threw the ball his way 166 times, and Diggs came down with a career-high 76.5 percent of his targets.

Buffalo has one of the league’s more high-powered offenses, so it wouldn’t be a crazy bet to expect Diggs to repeat last year’s numbers.

Buffalo is third on WynnBET’s odds list to win the Super Bowl at +1200, and the Bills are the favorite in the AFC East with -155 odds to take the division for the second straight season.

Allen took a major step forward last season, and if he can continue to play at an MVP-caliber level, both Diggs and the Bills will stand to reap the benefits.
