Bills’ Starters, Offense Should Roll Against Broncos’ Backups in Preseason Week 2
By Peter Dewey
The Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills both won their preseason openers, but things could look much different in Week 2, as the Bills are expected to play Josh Allen and company.
Denver, on the other hand, is taking a different approach after letting Josh Johnson rock in Week 1 against Dallas.
There has been some major line movement in this game with the Bills playing Allen, so how should we bet it?
Here are the odds from WynnBET:
Broncos vs. Bills Odds, Spread and Total
Spread:
- Broncos +6 (-110)
- Bills -6 (-110)
Moneyline:
- Broncos: +200
- Bills: -250
Total:

Broncos vs. Bills Odds, Spread and Total Movement in NFL Preseason Week 2
We’ve seen some major movement in this game, as the Bills announced they are playing starters in this game, while it looks unlikely that Denver will do the same. The Chiefs have moved from one-point dogs to six-point favorites, and the total has risen two points from 40.5 to 42.5.
Broncos vs. Bills Best Bet and Prediction
The Broncos beat Dallas’ backups in Week 1, but their offense stalled out in the second half, and they’re not going to be able to get away with that against Allen and Case Keenum in Week 2.
The Bills put up 27 points in Week 1 without a passing touchdown, and now they’re going to have their top offensive players on the field in this game.
I doubt Sean McDermott lets his guys play for long, but the series that they do play will be a huge advantage. I simply can’t trust Denver’s backups to compete enough in this game.
Lean: Bills -6 (-110)
