The Super Bowl favorites go head to head in Week 14 in what could be a possible AFC Championship game preview. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-3) opened as three-point favorites over the Buffalo Bills (7-5).

The Bills are coming off a very sloppy and strange loss to the Patriots on Monday night. Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen went 15-for-30 with 145 yards passing on the night. The game was weird because Allen’s passing numbers look like HOF stats compared to Mac Jones; due to the wind, the Patriots decided to rely heavily on their run game last night. Heavily might not even do this strategy justice. The Patriots passed the ball just three times all game. Two of those three passes came near the very end of the game. And they won! It was one of a handful of games where a team won with three or fewer pass attempts.

Aside from making my prop bet on Jones look like a joke, it was an effective strategy. Meanwhile, the Bucs are on a three-game winning streak and look primed for another playoff run.

Bills vs. Buccaneers Prediction and Pick

The Bills are looking more and more like the Buffalo team we have all grown to know over the last few decades or so. They continue to find new and exciting ways to lose games in big spots.

On the other side, Brady led the Bucs to a decisive victory over the Atlanta Falcons last week with 368 yards passing and four touchdowns in the game. Even without Antonio Brown, this offense is clicking. Brady and Rob Gronkowski hooked up for two passing touchdowns and the MVP frontrunner furthered his case for the award. Brady now leads the pack with +180 to win with Josh Allen second at +500.

It’s amazing to see Allen still so high on this list after a rather pedestrian season. I realize the winds were 35 MPH last night, making the offense a bit tricky, but his problems extend back way past that and he’s thrown seven interceptions in his last five games.

At this point, the Buccaneers look like championship material once again while the Bills had an epic stumble down the stretch. With the spread so close and my feelings about these teams so far away, I feel very confident on the Bucs in Week 14.

Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3.5 (-110)
