The Chicago Blackhawks are riding a two-game road win streak heading into their game in Sin City tonight against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Blackhawks are in the second half of a back-to-back after beating the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. Despite their recent streak, the Blackhawks are 4-6 in their last ten games and sit in seventh in the Central Division.

The Golden Nights are also struggling this month. They are 3-7 straight up in their last ten games, but did manage a 6-1 blowout of the Nashville Predators on Thursday night. The win snapped a two-game losing streak. Evgenii Dadonov led the charge with a goal and two assists.

Blackhawks vs. Golden Knights Prediction and Pick

The Blackhawks enter this game with a lot of issues on both ends of the ice. They average just 2.6 goals per game on average and allow 3.4 per game on the defensive end. I am no math whiz, but I don’t think that adds up to a winning formula. The Golden Knights, on the other hand, are averaging three goals per game on offense and three goals on defense. The last time these two teams met the Golden Knights came away with a 2-1 victory in Chicago.

Vegas might have the better squad, but they are awfully banged up right now. They are without their best two wingers in Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty. Top of the lineup players Reilly Smith and Alec Martinex. Most of their defense and both of their starting goaltenders. It’s amazing they aren't pulling guys from the rink crew to fill in at this point.

The Blackhawks present a lot of value on the money line to make the most of their injured opponents. I think they get it done on the road and pull this season series even at 1-1.

Lean: Blackhawks ML+153
