The Orlando Magic are playing host to Portland on Monday night with the worst overall record in the NBA at 8-36.  Orlando has a good chance to score a victory tonight with the slumping Blazers struggling to stay afloat in the West. Portland is 4-6 straight up in their last 10 games and an awful 3-14 record on the road. The Blazers will be looking for their second straight win while the Magic are looking for their second win in their last 10 games.

The Blazers will be without star Damian Lillard tonight with an abdominal injury but should see CJ McCollim return after an extended absence. For the Magic, Jalen Suggs is back on the court after missing time and has been on fire since his return. In his first two games back, Suggs has totaled 28 points, nine assists and is shooting over 63 percent from the field.

Trail Blazers vs. Magic Prediction and Pick

The Orland Magic had a chance to win back-to-back games for the first time this season after beating the Charlotte Hornets last week. But, they followed that game up with a 108-92 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. While the Magic are awful in terms of wins and losses, they did manage to cover three of their last four games. However, in the year Orlando is 4-13 AT at home and 5-7 ATS in non-conference action.

However, and it pains me to say this, the Magic are actually showing signs of life recently. They have lost three of their last four games by less than seven points and they even managed to beat the Hornets on the road. With Lillard out and Suggs playing quality minutes right now, I think the Magic might sneak a win here.
