The Portland Trail Blazers are perfect 3-0 against the spread as road favorites this season, and they have a chance to build on that record against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday.

Oklahoma City (18-12 ATS) and Portland (20-10 ATS) have been two of the best teams to bet on this season, so how do we proceed in this matchup?

One of the biggest keys is looking at the injury report, as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Darius Bazley are all listed as out for OKC.

That’s led to the Blazers being set at 7.5-point favorites, although Jerami Grant (questionable) could miss this game.

OKC pulled off an upset against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday, but Ja Morant was ejected from that game. Let’s check out the latest odds and make a pick:

Blazers vs. Thunder Prediction and Pick

With so many key players out for OKC, I can’t back them to cover in this game, even though they have been solid ATS so far as home dogs (6-4) this season.

Portland is going to have a huge offensive advantage in this game with Gilgeous-Alexander and Giddey sitting.

The Blazers rank eighth in the NBA in offensive rating while OKC clocks in at 24th, and that’s with SGA in the lineup for most of the season.

The Blazers are 10-7 straight up on the road this season, a huge change from the 2022-23 campaign when they were one of the worst road teams in the league.

Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons are going to be handful for the Thunder to deal with on defense, and I just don’t think Lu Dort, Jalen Williams and Tre Mann are enough for the Thunder to score and stay in this game.
