If you're betting on the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 on Masters weekend, you're either a hardcore NASCAR fan or a degenerate gambler, which I respect greatly.

It's been a crowded leaderboard so far this NASCAR season, with no driver securing a second win. Ryan Blaney and Chase Elliott are tied at the top without either driver having a win of their own. This weekend's race will give them both a chance to create some separation, if they find themselves in the winner's circle.

Let's take a look at the top 10 odds via WynnBET to win this weekend's race.

Odds to Win the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500

  • Martin Truex Jr. +550
  • Chase Elliott +700
  • Denny Hamlin +850
  • Ryan Blaney +850
  • Joey Logano +1000
  • Kyle Busch +1000
  • Kyle Larson +1000
  • William Byron +1200
  • Alex Bowman +1400
  • Christopher Bell +1400

Pick to Win the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500

Martin Truex Jr. is the betting favorite at this race, and for good reason. Not only is he tied for the most Top 10s this season with four, but he's also the defending champion at this event.

He also won the event when it was the First Data 500 back in 2019, hosted at the same track, the Martinsville Speedway. So, technically, he's the two-time defending champion at this race track, and I see now reason why he can't make it three-straight on Saturday.

Much like golf, a lot of handicapping NASCAR has to do with recent form, and track history. Truex Jr. checks both of those boxes heading into this weekend, and he finnished sixth last week. I'll talk the chalk and back him on Saturday.

Lean: Martin Truex Jr. +550
