The Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners continue their four-game series tonight at 10:10 PM EST.

The Blue Jays are struggling, but send Cy Young candidate Alek Manoah to the mound. Manoah had his worst start of the season last week against Oakland (of all teams), but allowed two or fewer runs in 13 of his 15 outings prior to that.

Robbie Ray and the Mariners are both scorching hot. Seattle is 13-3 in their last 16, while the 2021 Cy Young winner has a quality start in five consecutive appearances with a 0.81 in that span.

Can the 2022 Cy Young candidate come out on top, or will Ray show Manoah a thing or two about winning some hardware?

Before we find the value in this sensational pitching matchup, let's first check out the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook:

Blue Jays vs Mariners Prediction and Pick

It's not often it's to make the case against Alek Manoah than for him, but Robbie Ray has been that darn good lately. He gave up fewer runs over his last five starts than Manoah did in 5.2 innings against the A's last week. In his last 33.2 innings, opposing lineups have a mere 15 hits.

After a rough start to his Seattle tenure, Ray is settling in quite nicely. Toronto ranks 27th in OPS against left-handed pitchers over the last three weeks, so I don't expect much resistance either.

While Manoah is fully capable of shutting the Mariners down too, he has a 4.12 ERA in his last four starts while allowing four home runs. He's just been a bit off, which gives Seattle an edge.

As a cherry on top, the Blue Jays have been terrible in this spot all year. They're 10-18 outright as road favorites and I'd much rather trust the hotter team that's 9-6 as a home favorite. I'll happily back Ray and Seattle to emerge victorious in what should be a fantastic game.

Pick: Mariners (+110)
