The St. Louis Blues are 7-3 in their last 10 games and are riding a two-game winning streak into tonight's battle with the Vancouver Canucks.

The Blues will have a favorable matchup in this meeting, as the Canucks are down to their fifth string, that's right, FIFTH STRING goaltender.

Michal Dipietro has played in two games in his NHL career, and has allowed eight goals on 31 shots for a 7.02 goals against average and a .742 save percentage. Not good, not good at all.

Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for this Western Conference showdown.

Blues vs. Canucks Prediction and Picks

As I stated above, the Canucks are down to their fifth string goaltender, and he's struggled heavily in the two NHL appearances he's made in his career. I would recommend fading him one way or another. You can take the OVER 5.5 for total goals in the game, you can take the OVER 3.5 goals for the Blues at +115, or you can do what I'm going to do, and take the Blues on the -1.5 puck line at +155.

I'm not particularly high on the Blues this season, but they're a much more talented team then the Canucks, who are being overvalued due to a current hot streak that they've been on since hiring Bruce Boudreau as their head coach.

I'm not going to overthink this one. I'm going to fade the fifth string goalie.

Pick: Blues -1.5 (+155)
