Just because the PGA Tour season is over, doesn't mean that we don't have golf to bet on.

The DP World Tour, formerly known as the European Tour, is hosting its marquee event this week at Wentworth Club in England. Golfers from around the world, including those who compete on the controversial LIV Tour, will be teeing it up this week.

Let's start off by taking a look at the top 20 odds via FanDuel to win, and then I'll give you my best bets to win.

BMW PGA Championship Best Bets

Billy Horschel Top 10 Finish +260

Billy Horschel is the tournament's defending champion, and he seems to always perform well in Europe. In fact, last season he lead the DP World Tour in greens in regulation, while ranking 12th in driving accuracy.

He also had one of the best short games on the PGA Tour this year, which will give him a leg up on a lot of the competition.

Horschel came out with some fiery comments about LIV golfers this week, so a lot of eyes will be on him when he tees it up.

I won't get so aggressive to bet on him to win, but I think a top 10 bet at +260 is too tempting to pass up.

Shane Lowry +1400

Shane Lowry is my best bet to win this week. He played too well on the PGA Tour this season to not get a win, so maybe he can grab a victory across the pond. He ranked 9th in Tour this season in strokes gained: approach, and 17th in total strokes gained.

He also has had the best cumulative score to par at this event over the last five years.

Rasmus Hojgaard +9000

If you want a long shot bet for this week, take a look at Rasmus Hojgaard. The 21-year old phenom has already secured three wins on the DP World Tour in his young career, and he has already shown he can compete with some of the best golfers in the world.

He can hit the ball a mile and find greens on a regular basis, ranking 12th in driving distance and 26th and greens in regulation. But, like a lot of other young golfers, his putting still leaves a lot to be desired.

When it comes to long shots, betting on good ball strikers and hoping they can get hot with their flat stick, is a solid strategy that I implement consistently. Hojgaard is worth a shot at 90/1.
